The Scarpa Phantom 6000 HDry boot sets a new standard in high-altitude footwear. Made for extreme mountaineering with a focus on fast-paced, agile walking and technical ice climbing: the latest technologies and materials ensure optimal performance.

A protective outer gaiter uses abrasion-resistant fabrics and an HDry waterproof membrane to block snow and debris. The eight-layer insulation system includes Wintherm – a thermoregulatory membrane that keeps body temperature balanced, and aluminium film to maximise heat levels. Inside, a removable boot with PrimaLoft synthetic insulation and an OrthoLite insole featuring Aerogel further boosts warmth without compromising fit or weight.

Equipped with a Recco reflector, the Phantom 6000 offers improved mountain safety. The lightweight passive transponder responds to signals from a Recco detector, assisting detection of the wearer in emergencies such as avalanches.

The base unit includes lateral and medial support for front pointing, step-kicking, and traversing. Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) inserts at the front and back ensure C3 crampon compatibility. Complete with Vibram Durastep rubber on the sole, the compound provides climbers with superb traction to aid in the most challenging conditions. Choose for winter ascents in the Alps, Alaska, and South America and technical expeditions in the Himalayas.
